Personality : Very silent and mysterious. speaks only when necessary, and is usually short, and to the point when he does. has a great 'obsession' with shadows, and often speaks of them. he has a special situation, where depending on a percentage of shadow and humanity levels, this personality can become either lighter, or heavier. (will be explained in history)
Abilites : has a shadowy presence, due to being partially a shadow being. his shadow abilities are greater than every on in Hattori family can ever imagine, and he can use them in ways that seem impossible.

History :Hanzō was born in the Mist Village. Both his parents were Nara, so it was no doubt that he too, was an obvious Nara. He grew up like most people in his village, at first anyway, starting at the academy and working his way right up to jounin. However, there werent any other Nara in his village to teach him his clan abilities, so his parents had to fill those gaps. This, wasnt really the best for him, as his parents werent exactly the 'nicest' around. No, and because of his clan situation, they demanded perfection. Which for the most part they received. Despite his success, they never acted truly satisfied, and were rather fierce about it. It was because of this, he acted so silent and mysterious, and spent a lot of his time with shadow spirits that he stumbled upon one day, which really only pushed him further into being so silent. But at least they provided him with the 'affection' his parents could not. Of course, Hanzō had his share of friends which kept him out of the shadows complete grasp. Despite this, Hanzō was visiting the shadows more and more, until it became a daily thing, like it was part of his routine. After awhile, the shadows offered to take him in as their own. They promised power, AND A REAL FAMILY. This really moved Hanzō, however he still had enough sense to see through the offer enough to at least think about it. "as all he had to do was cast aside all friends and family, and accept only shadow". Again, he was still smart enough to at least postpone his answer for awhile, he had a lot to lose after all. Indeed, because of his parents absence, and the shadows tricks (most of which he didnt notice) his friends were very close to him. He passed the academy with flying colors along with his friends, due to surprising expertise, and went happily on to Genin. By now, the balance of his friends, and the shadows was keeping his outlook right in the middle. But the shadows wanted him, and they realized that the ONLY thing keeping him away from them were his friends. it was then decided that they were to be taken out. The day came when Hanzō and his friends became chuunin. they had passed the very first exam, as if they were re-taking the academy final exam. he couldnt be any more happier, even though his parents were still 'unsatisfied'. However he still had not answered the shadows, and they were done waiting. they're time of action was afoot. They took the form of an average villager, from around the leaf country. they devised a deathtrap plan, and submitted it disguised as a mission requesting Hanzō and his friends specifically. The plan was: the five of them were to investigate a small (actually deserted) town. the four friends were to get separated from Hanzō at the source of the problem: a rather large, and clearly out of place, mansion on the edge of the little town where they were to be murdered through a process i dont have the heart to explain. Hanzō returned to the village covered in tears and blood, his comrades in his hands. Yet the fake mission, was still a success. Even after this, no one talked about it, no one had any sympathy, and put simply: no one cared. All. but the shadows, which Hanzō ignored, as he just had a feeling they had something to do with it. All until he went to his parents for affection, which he-of course-was denied. he could not believe it, his only TRUE source of real happiness was gone, and no one cared at all. In fact, most SUSPECTED him. His head was foggy-and just as the shadows had intended from there little scheme-he submitted himself to them, and accepted their offer. It was at that point that he achieved his awesome power with the shadows, learning things that even Naras were amazed with, as well as learning to use them in ways none though possible. However, it was also the point that he became as silent and mysterious as he is today, as well as basically making him the shadows puppet. So, unlike before, when the shadows wanted, or even suggested that something be done, it was done without hesitation; such as the shadows had wanted before. Now that he was with the shadows during all of his 'free time' he was given a (fake) new set of parents, giving what his could not, such as they promised in the first place. He lived this way for a good while,and his real parents didnt even care that he was gone, as long as he was doing them proud. Now that he was chuunin, he started to learn powerful ninjutsu which he mastered easily (to no ones surprise, those that cared enough to watch him that is) and started to learn up to three elements, which here again mastered easily. once even THIS was mastered with ease, the shadows found him worthy to receive the ultimate weapon of the shadows: the Shadow Fang. All he had to do was find the fang of a great beast (by killing it) and using his shadow abilities to empower it WITH the shadows himself. The fang he chose, was that of a wolf: the greatest beast of the night, and thus, the shadows. Hanzō received the fang through a process were not going to explore, and forged it with the shadows creation and made his weapon. From there Hanzō himself empowered it with the shadows. By now, he was a well respected jounin for his amazing skill in both the shadows, and Ninjutsu. The shadows could keep him under constant watch, thanks to the shadow fang which he was getting better and better with every day. Yet he did not want a team of genin, the only thing that was to exist in his life, were the shadows.

The wind blows slightly. Hanzō hair swayed gently against his face. The sounds of birds cherping and leaves rustling with the wind in the background. Hanzō closes his eyes and concenrates. Knowing the postion of the training targets. He quickly wipes out some kunias and shurikens and hit all of the target almost flawlessly. He turned as he heard clapping. He had no idea that his teacher was watching. He gave a curtiousy greeting to the unexpected visitor.
The teacher says, "Good job!"
Hanzō replies, "Thanks, I need to get going just stop to train for a minute."
The teacher said, "OK." The teacher disappeared into the trees. Hanzō collected his kunais and shurikens and went home as the sun started to set into the horizen.
