Yuji Sarayama/Saito Hiragawa

Quick note: I need two characters they were really built around each other and I asked before hand.

Appearance: Short, trimmed black hair. Bangs just about reaching his eyes. Wears the school uniform at all times. Even when leaving the property. Dark blue eyes.

Abilities: Martial Arts, Mage Arts.
Personality: Determined to prove himself. Hard working. He cannot stand it when people pick on others for being weak or untalented. Especially when they beat themselves up for it.
Special Characteristics: Absolutely none.
Skills: A pair of special combat gloves. They run a thin wire to each fingertip of the opposite glove. The wire can extrend and retract. Only known use is to restrain others. Wire is nearly invisible to the naked eye. He also uses the wires as a bluff to cover his inability with magic. Such as cutting apart small objects or moving things, etc.

History/Story: Yuji is the second son of the prestigious Sarayama House. One of the top noble families which has a history of producing top quality gruads to the Emperor himself. However, Yuji is considered a failure in his family's eyes. He possesses near zero magical talent and his physic is subpar. After recieving the combat gloves from one of the houseworkers as a gift, he began training himself, but did not make much progress. He asked his father to enroll him in a magic academy so he could increase his skills, but was denied the opportunity, being told "A failure cannot be more than that". He then ran away from home and secretly applied to Imperial Academy where he is determined to prove himself worthy of the family name. However he has gone under the alias of Saito Hiragawa as if his identity were discovered, he fears that he will be removed. He also needs to avoid the one person in the academy who can identify him. The child prodigy Sakai.

Appearance: Shoulder length white hair. Has adjusted his bangs so they completely cover the right side of his face. Tends to wear a deep blue sweater vest with a short sleeved undershirt. Beige dress pants. and same dark blue eyes as Yuji however, they are more cold.

Abilities: Martial Arts, Mage Arts.
Personality: Cold and calm. He holds the same belief as his father "A failure cannot be more than that". Dislikes people who act stronger than they really are.
Special Characteristics: A large burn on his back he keeps hidden.
Skills: Fire Mastery and swordplay. Sakai has developed his skills with fire magic to a point where he can compress the flames with powerful results.

Flame Katana: His signature skill. His arm is engulfed in flame, collected and compressedat his fingertips until it forms a solid katana-shaped blade of pure white flame. The blade gives off an extremely bright light.

Flame Bullet: Sakai concentrates flames at the tips of his two fingers, creating a small v-shaped projectile shot at high speeds.

Molotov: Looks to be a standard fireball in his hand. But when throw, opon contact with anything the fireball immediately explodes, launching many more fireballs in every direction.

Dragonbreath: Sakai exhales a massive amount of flames from his mouth.

History/Story: Sakai is the elder son of the Sarayama House and from birth has been trained to become the successor of the house. He was a natural when it came to magic and alike. Before his mother died and his father remarried, he was a happy child whooften helped his younger brother, who was four at the time of her death. However, once she died, things changed. His father suddenly became harsh and unforgiving. His training became strict and grueling. Sakai recieved the burn on his back when his father was in a fury and attacked Yuji, Sakai blocked the attack but recieved a permanent scar on his back. To which his father's fury was directed to him. Afterwards, Sakai became withdrawn and slowly turned into the man he is now. Upon enrollment to Imperial Academy, he was given the rank of Silver, but by the end of the year he had achieved the rank of Gold.

Role-Playing Sample: (Perspective of Yuji) Yuji sat down on the stone bench in the middle of the city plaza. The hussle and bussle of people around him, trying to get to their jobs on time, children playing in the street, and the melding together of countless conversations engulfed him. But he merely focused all his attention on a sole piece of paper in his hands. A hand written letter with the words "Saito Hiragawa has been accepted to Imperial Academy" printed at the very end. The feeling of elation would not leave him and he supressed the urge to shout it to the heavens. Now he could prove himself, now the real tests began. He folded the paper gently and slipped it into a pocket of a ragged old bag. slinging the strap over his shoulder, he stands and joins the crowd of wandering people. Moving uphill and towards the Academy off in the distance.
